Technical Assistance
Full-time office staff at RPOA (Rental Property Owners Association - our affiliate organization) is available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist you with questions regarding the rental business.
Legal Guidance
In instances where you require legal advice, we have an attorney on call to answer your legal questions. Your questions will be answered over the phone free of charge. Discounts are also available.
Credit & Criminal Reports
For a small fee, RPOA can run credit and criminal reports on prospective tenants. Credit reports are usually available within three hours upon request. The staff is also available to help interpret reports.
Tenant History Website
Members can also share tenant histories with each other and search District Court eviction judgments. All members have access to the 24-hour free website at www.tenatnhistorywebsite.org
Forms & Templates
We carry most of the rental forms and related forms you may ever need-each reviewed by our attorney. Sample letters are also available for member use.
Monthly Magazine
The Voice is a monthly publication filled with the latest news in the rental property business, advice, tips and articles on the best standards of practice in the industry.
Weekly Rental Guide
Advertise your available units free on our Weekly Rental Guide.
Networking
Our members have many years of experience in real estate investing and land lording. Our members are willing to share experience and knowledge of the industry with each other.
Meetings
If you would like; come as our guest to one of our meetings and CHECK US OUT. Our meetings are the 4th. Tuesday of each month at Theo & Stacy's Restaurant on Portage Rd. at 7:00 P.M.(Dinner optional @ 6:00)
State Affiliations
With our Rental Property Owners Association membership some of our dues are used for lobbying on the landlord issues with the state legislature.
